David Marshack
SVP Product & Device Technology

David Marshack, SVP Product & Device Technology, is responsible for TerreStar's chipset, handset and device development.
Prior to TerreStar, David founded LeoTerra, a next-generation satellite-based Internet service provider. Concurrently, he served as an advisor to venture funds in the areas of telecommunications and cable and worked to grow small and emerging technology companies. David has held senior technical and Business Development roles with Voxpath Networks and Advent Networks.
Before moving to startups, David was Director of Technology and Operations at Time Warner Cable where he designed and built the commercial high-speed data infrastructure that supported hundreds of thousands of business and teleworking customers.
Prior to Time Warner Cable, Mr. Marshack spent six years in Australia working on security and network communication systems for the United States and Australian governments. In his time overseas, Mr. Marshack designed, installed and maintained communications infrastructure systems deployed throughout the country.
David has also consulted to Washington's leading legal and accounting firms as well as National Defense and security companies.
He and his wife, Robin, are alumni of Middlebury College (Middlebury, Vt.).
